Pre-Pilgrimage Tip#1 & #2

Greetings Everyone!

The time is approaching quickly.  Yeah!  I'm slowly gathering the items that I will bring and discerning how I will pack.  I will try to pack light, yet not forget what I need.  After being there in 1999, I can testify that this pilgrimage will change how we look at the Scriptures.  I hope for an increase of faith in Christ and an increased zeal for the Scriptures for us all.  This will be a time we will never forget.  

Pre-Pilgrimage tip #1:  Consider walking each day.  While the walking is not considered strenuous, I imagine that pilgrims will enjoy the sights better when not panting from exercise en-route to a site.

Pre-Pilgrimage Tip #2:  Pray that your heart will be open to what God wants you to experience when in the Holy Land.  Be cautious of your own expectations.  Just be open.

St. Anthony's Holy Land Pilgrimage

We will soon be off to Israel. We'll try to keep you posted as to where we are and what we're doing. We'll also try to post pictures as we travel. It all depends on what type, if any, internet connections we have while there.
